The Kanata Beaver Pond park is a well used and much loved Kanata recreational area. Lucky visitors may see a beaver swimming across the pond, or catch sight of a pileated woodpecker, or Kingfisher. Visit the wildlife web page for pictures of a red winged blackbird, chipmunks and red squirrels.
November 30 2010: It's time to look forward to being out on the trails on cold still mornings enjoying fresh snow. These Beaver Pond snow pictures were taking in February of 2008.
